Children diagnosed with a mental health condition can be physically aggressive, threatening to others, and disruptive. They can also be capable of performing dangerous acts and at times be uncontrollable.
Their parents or caregivers rarely have a moment of peace.
Enrollment Requirements
- Children are under the age of 18
- Children have been diagnosed with a mental health condition which includes:
Serious Emotional Disturbances - SED
Serious Behavioral Disorder - SBD
Neurobiological Disorder - NBD - Children that do not qualify for respite care through any other services (for example, the D.D. waiver)

Services and Amenities
- Flexible hours:
Weekdays 7:30 am to 9:00 pm
Weekends 11:00 am to 5:00 pm - Adult to child ratio of 1:3 supervision
- Experienced staff who are culturally sensitive & bilingual
- Staff specializing in pre-teen development & age appropriate interventions
- A welcoming, home-like environment
- Secure outdoor play space
- Staff monitoring of medication & nutritional needs
- Positive socialization for the children
- Hands-on learning environment
- Scheduled community activities
