Therapists to provide intensive intervention for children and adolescents through our Mental Health in the Schools Program. They currently serve 6 Albuquerque Public Schools and are constantly expanding. Referrals are made by the School Mental Health Team.

Criteria for Receiving Services

• Abuse
• Neglect
• Abandonment
• Famly issues
• School problems
• Depression
• Aggression
• Anger outbursts
• Anxiety

Program focus

• Promote positive social and emotional development
• Address mental health problems for students and their families
• Support and work collaboratively with school staff
• Provide individual, family and group therapy to children and their families
• Provide school-based enhanced services which include case management and teacher support and consultation
